Debra Woo
Dr. Debra Woo is Director of Operations for the AEGD program, which concluded in June 2024 at the dental school's Union City Clinic. She and several faculty members are providing care for the patients and will transition the clinic at the end of this year. Prior to this, she was the Clinic Coordinator of Emergency Services at the Dugoni School of Dentistry and looks forward to returning to the Department of Diagnostic Sciences.
Dr. Woo maintained a private practice for thirty years until joining as faculty in 2012 to pursue her passion for clinical dental education. Prior to this, she was a Past President of the Dugoni Alumni Association and was actively involved in numerous leadership roles on committees, boards and delegations of the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She was selected and appointed to the Dental Board of California, serving under Governor Brown and Attorney General Kamala Harris.
She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and is a proud graduate from the Class of 1986. In addition, she holds a Master’s Degree in the Health Sciences.
