Marisella Guerrero

Marisella Guerrero ’98, PharmD earned a doctor of pharmacy from University of the Pacific in 1998. She joined the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy faculty in 2017. Prior to joining the faculty, Dr. Guerrero was actively involved in Pacific’s outreach programs, including precepting for events hosted by the Vietnamese Cancer Awareness Research Education Society and SALUD, the student health care committee focused on serving the local Spanish-speaking community. Fluent in Spanish, she has served as an interpreter for Spanish-speaking patients since high school, when she worked at a local hospital.  

She is a member of the California Pharmacists Association and is actively involved in the San Joaquin Pharmacists Association, serving as a board member and as president in 2009. 

She and her family enjoy traveling, bike riding and trying unique restaurants. She loves learning about other cultures through experiencing their cuisine and traditions. She also plays the guitar and piano and is a member of an informal rock band that performs live shows.
