A Sacramento native, Tim Zindel is a criminal defense attorney in private practice. He served for 28 years as an Assistant Federal Defender in the Eastern District of California representing indigent persons charged with federal crimes. He began his career with that Court as a law clerk in 1991 after graduating from Hastings College of the Law. He currently teaches Criminal Pretrial Litigation after several years co-teaching the Federal Defender Clinic and, in earlier years, Global Lawyering Skills. Zindel has a BA from UCLA.
