The Bachelor of Arts in general studies is a degree completion program at Benerd College designed for working professionals who want to advance into the teaching profession or obtain a BA in General Studies. 

Students will complete their bachelor’s degree while acquiring skills to effectively plan, develop and support the delivery of curriculum to students in K-12th grade. The program then has an optional direct pathway to a Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Teaching (plus a Multiple Subject or Special Education Credential).

Through completing this program, students can attain a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, and earn their teaching credentials in 2.5 years.
