Born and raised in San Bernardino, California, Patricia Lopez is the proud daughter of immigrants from Oaxaca, Mexico. She comes from a family of six and is the first in her family to attend a University. Patricia transferred from community college and obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Social Sciences at CSU Stanislaus. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and attending community events.

"I am very excited to join the University of the Pacific family and be a part of the School of Engineering and Computer Science initiative supporting a diverse student body in achieving their educational goals. I look forward to working with staff and faculty in developing and implementing support programs for underrepresented minorities, but most importantly for showcasing the contributions, achievements and success of our students."
