Alumni Invitation to Black History Month Events at Pacific
Alumni are invited to participate in a series of engaging and insightful events commemorating Black History Month.
Dear Alumni,
As I look to the month ahead, I am excited to connect with students and fellow alumni at the Black History Month Kickoff Celebration and other events. We have two amazing keynotes this month, Giancarlo Esposito and Lisa Lovett, plus an exciting performance by Pacific's Chamber Orchestra as they perform "Afro-American Symphony," composed by William Grant Still in 1930.
Signature events include:
- Black History Month Kickoff Celebration on February 7 from 12-1pm at the DeRosa University Center
- A Conversation with Giancarlo Esposito on March 3 from 7-9pm at Faye Spanos Concert Hall
- A Conversation with Lisa Lovett (host of the "Seasoned Dialogue" podcast) on February 24 from 7-9pm at the DeRosa University Center
